INEZA Kabaya Center in Kabaya sector in Ngororero district is moving forward with its campaign calling upon parents to treat children disabilities as normal children.
This campaign is about sensitization program and providing tools that would make children with disabilities more comfortable.
INEZA Center does this campaign in partnership with Handicap International, World Vision, Rhenanie Palatinat Province with the support of Ngororero district administration. On Monday the 30th Sept 2013, the Ineza center gave 20 wheel chairs to children with disabilities worth Rwf4 million.
Mrs. Clotilde Nyiraneza the vice mayor for social affairs in Ngororero district appreciated the work done by Ineza Center in supporting children with disabilities to live normal lives.
The vice mayor also appreciated the parents for changing their outlook towards children with disabilities. “Children with disabilities have the same human rights like all children, the district will always support this cause” says the vice mayor.

One of the parents with children with disabilities called Sylvain Kuradusenge from Ndaro sector said she is grateful for the wheel chair that will give some security to her child in moving around without help.
For children who in school going period, these wheel chairs will facilitate their movements to and from school though some of them will be limited by rough terrain made of hills and mountains.
20 children with disabilities from the sectors of Gatumba, Bwira, Matyazo, Kabaya, Muhanda and Kavumu in Ngororero district are the only ones that were given these wheel chairs. One wheel chair is worth Rwf200 000.
