Minister for Youth and ICT Nsengimana receiving a present on behalf of the government

Rwanda’s Minister for Youth and ICT Jean Philbert Nsengimana told a congregation of Catholic Youth to focus on bigger results arguing that they must live their faith in line with developing skills for better future.

The Minister was addressing more than 3000 Youth from Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo and their Rwandan hosts who had assembled for a 4day retreat in Ruhengeri Diocese in Musanze District on Thursday 14th November 2013.

“Every youth should have dreams to learn, move towards your dreams for better future. You must bring change that will impact your family and the country at large” Nsengimana said

He also asked the youth to protect their lives from infections like HIV/AIDS, reminding them premarital sex is fornication and a sin before God.

This catholic youth retreat was held for the 12th time by the catholic youth in Rwanda who invited their fellows from neighboring countries to share views and ideas. The retreat had a theme “Go and teach the whole world.”
