World Vision organization in Gisagara district which has been involved in many charity projects in education sector like providing school requirements for poor students, again supported education sector by providing clothes to students in five schools in different sectors of the district.
During the function to hand over these items to students in Muganza sector in Gisagara district, students were reminded that they were given these items to support them in their hygiene and to always take care of them and their overall hygiene.
Students were very happy to receive their gifts and said this makes them feel loved and appreciated. This also encourages them encourages them to study hard as they are always reminded to study harder to achieve their dreams in life.
Christine Nishimwe a worker of World Vision said this was done to remind parents to make sure their children have hygiene and for students to be aware of their self worth by going to school in shoes instead of bare feet.
Every student was given a t-shirt, shoes balls for basketball, volleyball, football and baseball in a way of promoting sports among the young and the youth.
These hygienic items were given to students in 5 schools that are sponsored by World Vision and these are Byiza Primary School in Muganza sector, Cyamukuza Primary School in Ndora sector, Muduha Primary School in save sector and Kizenga Primary School in Mamba sector.
